4 drivers arrested for illegal transportation of minerals in Baramulla

Baramulla, Mar 9:  Police in Baramulla have seized 4 vehicles and arrested their drivers for illegal extraction and transportation of minerals at Ferozpora Tangmarg, Singhpora Pattan and Kungamdara.

Police under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg and SDPO Pattan assisted by SHO PS Tangmarg, IC PP Mirgund and Kungamdara seized 4 vehicles (1 tipper and 3 tractors), besides arresting four drivers. They have been identified as Fayaz Ahmad Malla resident of Pati Yangoora, Gulzar Ahmad Teli resident of Hanjiwera Payeen, Yasir Ali Dar resident of Kripalpora Payeen and Naseer Ahmad Ganie resident of Babagund Pattan.

The drivers alongwith his vehicles were found involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals and accordingly a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Tangmarg and Police Station Pattan and investigations have been initiated.
