4 die, 2 injured in Mahore road accident

Rajouri, Nov 7: Four persons died while two others were injured in a road accident at Ziyarat Morh in Reasi's Mahore sub division.

The accident occurred when a vehicle fell into a gorge and was completely damaged.

Officials said that six passengers were travelling in the ill-fated vehicle . They were injured and were removed to hospital, where three of them were declared brought dead.

The deceased were identified as Manzoor Ahmed (41) son of Abdul Rashid, Bashir Ahmed (23) son of Ghulam Mohammad and Ulfat (8) daughter of Mohammad Manzoor, all residents of Dewal Mahore. Later one more injured Ghulam Mohi Ud Din (42) son of Ghulam Mohammad also succumbed to his injuries.

Two injured passengers are under treatment in hospital. They were identified as Shabir Ahmed (38) son of Abdullah and Irtika Manzoor (10) daughter of Manzoor Ahmed resident of Dewal.

Police said to have taken up necessary legal proceedings into the matter.
