4 books of Dogri writer Yashpaul Nirmal released at SKICC
Srinagar, Aug 18: Sarv Bhasha Trust, New Delhi released four books of eminent literateur and Dogri writer and poet Yashpaul Nirmal in the ongoing Chinar Book festival at SKICC here.
In this function four books of Nirmal entitled BUS TOON GAI TOON AIN, collection of Dogri Poetry, SHABD AMRIT (Hindi Translation of Dogri poetry by Mohamad Yaseen Baig), TALI’R JAAN (Dogri translation of Dr. Sudakar Adeeb’s collection of Hindi Poetry) and Gojri Translation of Yashpaul Nirmal‘s Dogri Children Novel by Shagufta Choudhary) were released.
Eminent literateur of Hindi, Urdu and Kashmiri Dr. Satish Vimal presided on the occasion while English literateur and Senior Editor in English J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Dr. Abid Ahmad, was the chief Guest on the occasion. Prominent kashmiri literateur Mushtaq Ahmad Mushtaq was the guest of Honour on the occasion.
Keshav Mohan Pandey, organiser Sarv Bhasha Trust, New Delhi, and Karan Targotra also shared the dice.
Satish Vimal in his presidential address appreciated the efforts of Nirmal for the promotion of Languages and literature of different languages in the Jammu and Kashmir. Chief Guest Dr Abid Ahmad congratulated Nirmal for earning recognition at national level in the field of language, literature, translation and children literature.
