3rd Indian Military Heritage Festival to begin in New Delhi today
New Delhi, Nov 13: The third edition of the Indian Military Heritage Festival (IMHF), organised by the United Service Institution of India (USI), will be held in the national capital on November 14 and 15, 2025.
Minister of State, Ministry of Defence , Sanjay Seth will inaugurate the event and address the opening session. The festival aims to promote discussion and awareness on India’s rich military history, heritage, national security, and geopolitics. It seeks to bring together stakeholders from the armed forces, academia, industry, diplomacy, and civil society for meaningful dialogue and engagement.
Highlights of IMHF 2025 include an exhibition of military paintings by Lt Col Arul Raj (Retd) and the release of two new publications, The Sukraniti: Statecraft and Warcraft by Col PK Gautam (Retd) and Honours & Awards of the Indian Armed Forces by Dr AK Mishra. The two-day festival will also feature a series of panel discussions with noted authors and experts on topics such as Operation Sindoor, The War India Forgot, Contested Partitions, Tussles over Tibet, BSF and Bangladesh, Udbhav, Taming the Waves, Military Biographies, and Technology and Strategy.
