Srinagar, Nov 27: Muraad’s 7th Street Srinagar and Batwara Sports Club stormed into the final of the 3rd Edition CRPF Cup 2025.

As per a statement issued on Thursday, earlier Affan Wani’s four-wicket burst and Sarsheel’s blistering 86 powered Batwara Sports Club, and Muraad’s 7th Street Srinagar to commanding semifinal wins at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium.

Sharing details as per the statement in Semi-final 1 between Muraad’s 7th Street and The Real Sultan Sumerbugh, Muraad’s 7th Street Srinagar posted a commanding 220/5 in the allotted 20 overs and then restricted The Real Sultan Sumerbugh to 153, winning the contest by 67 runs.

Sarsheel of Muraad’s 7th Street was named Player of the Match for a blistering 86 off 44 balls, studded with 12 fours and 2 sixes, which laid the platform for his team’s imposing total.

In the second semi-final, Batwara Sports Club chased down MLA Gymkhana Budgam’s 87-run total, reaching 90/7 in 12.1 overs to win by 3 wickets and seal their place for the second time in two years in the summit clash.

Affan Wani of Batwara Sports Club was adjudged Player of the Match for a fine all-round performance, scoring 12 runs off 16 balls and delivering an economical spell of 4 overs for 22 runs with 4 wickets that derailed MLA Gymkhana’s innings.

With the semifinal hurdles cleared in emphatic fashion, all eyes now turn to the grand finale, where Muraad’s 7th Street Srinagar and Batwara Sports Club will battle for the coveted 3rd Edition CRPF Cup 2025 crown at the iconic Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium on 28 Nov 2025. The championship match is expected to draw a large turnout of cricket lovers from the valley.
