Managing Director KPDCL Mussarat Zia said that from December 2023, 15 percent hike was done on non-metered areas while there was no hike in metered areas. He said by and large tendency of hooking is a year round activity however it increases in winters as consumers use boilers, steamers etc.
He added that KPDCL is frequently using its social media handles to make consumers aware about judicious use of electricity.
