30 injured in Akhnoor road accident

Rajouri, July 29: Thirty persons were injured when a bus they were travelling in turned turtle in Akhnoor.

The accident, police said, took place on Monday morning when a canter bus JK02W 7601 on way to Jammu from a village turned turtle at Khuga Morh of Akhnoor police station jurisdiction.

Thirty passengers travelling in the vehicle were injured. They were shifted to Sub District Hospital Akhnoor from where 18 of them were shifted to Government Medical College Jammu.

The injured who have been referred to GMC Jammu. They include Sunil Sharma (23) son of Dwarka Nath, Rupanshi Sharma (16) daughter of Darshan Kumar, Nek Ram (50) son of Durga Dass, Kunj Lal (70) son of Devi Dutta, Leela Devi (48) wife of Subash Chander, Hem Raj (60) son of Sansar Chand, Meenakshi Devi, Vicky Sharma (39) son of Karam Chand,Mela Ram (44) son of Sansar Chand, Uplaksh Sharma (17) son of Moti Lal, Brij Lal (60) son of Prem Chand, and Kanchan Sharma (25) daughter of Subash Chander.
