3 special trains for Jammu region for Mahakumbh

Jammu, Jan 15: Indian Railways have announced three special (to and fro) trains to facilitate pilgrims, wishing to participate in Mahakumbh at Prayagraj, from Jammu region.

Announcement was made following the demand made by people from Jammu region through Union Minister of State in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh.

These trains will run from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Railway Station at Katra with haltage at Reasi, Udhampur, Jammu, Samba and Kathua Railway Stations.

As per schedule, the first train will run on January 24 from Katra for Prayagraj and return to Katra on January 26. Second and third special trains will depart for Prayagraj from Katra on February 7 and 14, 2025 and will return to Katra on February 9 and 16, 2025 respectively.
