3 officers get LG’s Award for Meritorious Public Service

Srinagar, Aug 14: The government on Wednesday accorded sanction to the grant of the Lieutenant Governor's Award for Honesty, Integrity, and Meritorious Public Service for the year, 2024, in favour of the three officers of of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to an order, the awardees include Suresh Kumar Gupta, IFS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Department of Culture; Satvir Kour Sudan, Director General, Economics and Statistics, J&K, and Showkat Hussain Mir, Director Resources, Finance Department.

Each awardee would be felicitated with a cash prize of Rs 51,000 and a citation.
