3 JKAS officers transferred; Syed Qamar Sajad is new Director Tourism Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 27: Three JKAS officers were transferred on Thursday, with Syed Qamar Sajad posted as Director Tourism, Kashmir.

According to an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), Pankaj Magotra, JKAS, who was awaiting adjustment in the department, has been posted as Director, Command Area Development, Jammu, against an available vacancy.

The government has also ordered the transfer of Syed Qamar Sajad, JKAS, who was serving as Managing Director of J&K Cable Car Corporation. He has been posted as Director, Tourism, Kashmir, while continuing to hold additional charge of Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation until further orders.

In a separate order (No. 1554-JK(GAD) of 2025), Vidhu Shekhar, IAS (AGMUT:2021), who was awaiting adjustment in the GAD, has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, against an available vacancy.
