3 injured in road accidents in Ramban
Ramban, July 7: At least three persons sustained injuries in three different road accidents on Srinagar- Jammu National Highway passing through Ramban district on Sunday.
Police sources said a tipper moving at a high speed rammed into seven parked vehicles near Peeda-Kunfer at Kunfer Chanderkote on Srinagar Jammu National Highway on Sunday morning.
They said rashly and negligently driven Dumper bearing registration number JK19-5944 on its way to Ramban from Jammu hit seven different types of parked vehicles bearing registration numbers JK19-7279, PB10HH-6847, JK02BQ-8285, JK14-.2028, JK14F.-1594, JK18-5646, and JK12B-1558 at Kunfer, Chanderkote.
Dumper driver involved in accident Rattan Singh son of Neak Ram Bhagat resident of Sangaldan, tehsil Gool, Ramban and one driver of Mahindra sustained minor injuries.
All the seven vehicles involved in the accident suffered damages.
Due to the accident vehicular traffic remained suspended till the accidental vehicles were removed from the down tube of National Highway 44 at Kunfer Chanderkote.
Police said no FIR was registered in this regard at Police Station Chanderkote.
Meanwhile a vehicle (tata mobile) bearing registration No.JK21J-3823 loaded with vegetables on its way from Jammu to Srinagar driven in a rash and negligent manner when reached near Jaswal bridge the said vehicle turned turtle on the road
The drive Bashir Ahmed son of Anayat Ali resident of Samba received a minor injury.
In another accident a Srinagar bound truck bearing registration number JK02AR-1657 overturned in the Maroog area of Ramban on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway, no one was injured in this accident however vehicular traffic movement was disrupted for more than an hour at Maroog on National Highway 44, said Police.
