3 injured in Kishtwar accident

Ramban, Nov 22: Three persons were injured in a road accident at Dangduru Project area of Dachhan in Kishtwar on Wednesday.

Reports said that they were hit by a speedy vehicle. Official sources said a rashly driven light vehicle bearing registration number UP14BZ-0059, hit three labourers resulting in critical injuries to them.

They were rushed to District Hospital Kishtwar. Two critically injured were identified as Shakir Hussain son of Abdul Gani Dar resident of Dangduru and Parvaiz Ahmed son of Mukhta Sheikh resident of Dangduru .They were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for specialized treatment. Farooq Ahmed son of Mohammad Ramzan Lone resident of Patimhal Kishtwar, is responding to the treatment at District Hospital Kishtwar.

The source said all three were working with Construction Company JP Associates, engaged for civil works of Dangduru Power Project Kishtwar.

Police have registered a case under relevant sections of law at Police Station Deachan Kishtwar for further investigations.
