3 injured in Chanderkote accident

Ramban, Feb 8: Three persons were injured in a road accident at Kunfer area of Chanderkote on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway last evening.

Reports said the mishap occurred when a car rammed into a parapet. The injured were travelling the car.

Police sources said a rashly driven vehicle bearing registration number JK13F- 2492 collided with a parapet in the Kunfer area of Chanderkote resulting in injuries to three persons including the driver.

On getting information Police with the help of locals reached the spot and shifted them to District Hospital Ramban for treatment.

Hospital authorities identified the injured persons as Umar Farooq, son of Farooq Ahmed, Asif Manzoor, son of Manzoor Ahmed, Irfan Ahmed, son of Ghulam Mohammad, all residents of Litter Pulwama, Kashmir.
