3-day special casual leave for Jammu division employees posted in Kashmir
Jammu, Sep 15: J&K government has granted three-day special casual leave in favour of employees of Jammu division posted in Kashmir valley, to enable them to vote in their respective assembly constituencies in different districts, during three phases of assembly elections.
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the grant of three days special casual leave in favour of Jammu based employees posted in Kashmir valley (who are eligible to vote in their respective assembly constituencies falling under different districts of Jammu province) during the three notified phases of General Elections to Legislative Assembly, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, 2024, on the specified dates,” read an order issued by General Administration Department (GAD).
As per order, the employees, who are eligible voters of assembly constituencies of Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban districts, going to polls in the first phase on September 18 in Jammu region, will get three-day casual leave from September 17 to 19, 2024.
For the employees, eligible voters of assembly constituencies in Reasi, Rajouri and Poonch districts of Jammu region, going to polls in the second phase on September 25, three-day special casual leave has been sanctioned from September 24 to 26, 2024.
Three-day special casual leave from September 30 to October 2, 2024 has been granted to the employees, who are eligible voters of assembly constituencies falling in Jammu, Udhampur, Kathua and Samba districts, where the poll day is October 1, 2024 in phase III.
