Srinagar, Oct 12: The Result Declaration and Prize Distribution ceremony of the 2nd Grand Annual Seerah Competition – 2025, organised by Maktabah Maseeh-ul-Ummah in collaboration with the Mirwaiz Foundation, was held today at the historic Markazi Jama Masjid Srinagar.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of students from across the Valley, who showcased their deep love and understanding of the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Mirwaiz, Dr. Moulvi Mohammad Umar Farooq, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his special address to the gathering, Mirwaiz congratulated all participants and the winners, and expressed happiness that young children are learning about the Seerah of the Prophet (SAW) with such enthusiasm and reverence.

Mirwaiz said that learning about the life of the Prophet (SAW) teaches us truthfulness, compassion, humility, and service to humanity. He told the students that true success lies not only in knowledge but in embodying good character and moral conduct inspired by the Prophet’s (SAW) example.

On this occasion, the winners of the competition were awarded medals, trophies, and cash prizes in recognition of their outstanding performances.

A major highlight of the ceremony was the release of the special edition of Para Amma, featuring the Kashmiri translation of Bayaan-ul-Furqaan authored by Muhajir-e-Millat Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Yousuf Shah Sahib (RA), along with color-coded Tajweed rules. The edition marks a milestone in promoting Qur’anic learning and understanding among children in their mother tongue.

Mirwaiz expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the organisers, sponsors, teachers, and volunteers for their sincere efforts in organising the event, calling it “a noble and inspiring initiative that strengthens the bond of our youth with the Qur’an and the Prophet’s (SAW) Seerah.”
