Bhaderwah, Aug 20: The second batch of ancient Mani Mahesh Yatra left Bhaderwah along with holy mace for onward journey to the holy shrine of Mani Mahesh in Bharmod of Himachal Pradesh today.

A group of 700 devotees from villages Sengoi, Seri, Chakrabati, Taichan, Dradhu, Gutasa, Neota-Karyan, Tipri and Lehrote carrying holy maces proceeded from Vasuki Nag Temple Gatha to Khundi Maral through Bhadarwah-Chamba interstate Road. They will stay there for the night and then proceed further towards the shrine in Bharmod district of Himachal Pradesh.

It is important to mention here that the first batch with holy mace has already left Bhaderwah on August 12t on foot and will reach their destination on August 22.

The second batch of devotees with Holy Mace will go via Bhaderwah-Padri-Chamba route on vehicles and will join the first Charri at Bharmod in HP tomorrow. Thereafter they will reach Holy lake of Mani-Mahesh on August 22 together to have Holy dip and offer traditional prayers.
