27 DySPs promoted as SPs
Jammu, Jan 25: J&K government Thursday promoted 27 Deputy Superintendents of Police (Selection Grade) as in-charge Superintendent of Police, on stop gap basis, in their own pay and grade.
As per an order issued by Home department, those promoted included Sunil Kumar Kesar; Ashok Sharma;
Prithpal Singh; Zaheer Abbas; Shafat Mohd Najar; Fayaz Hussain Shah; Zafar Iqbal Nawaz; Bashir Ahmad Teli; Mir Murtaza Hussain Sohil; Iftkhar Ahmed; Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad; Nisar Ahmad; Mohd Irfan Khan; Aumer Iqbal; Syed Sajad Hussain; Mumtaz Ali; Regzin Sandup; Shivali Kotwal; Arvnider Singh Kotwal; Altaf Ahmad Naik; Wajahat Hussain; Mohd Muzaffar Jan; Ishtyaq Ahmad Kacho; Mohd Shafiq; Gh Hassan Sheikh Rashid Younis and Rajinder Singh.
“The arrangement is made purely in the interest of administration and shall not confer any right on the incumbent to claim preferential treatment for promotion, as and when the same is made in accordance with the relevant rules. These placements shall be without prejudice to the outcome of writ petitions, if any, pending consideration before the court(s) or Tribunal of competent jurisdiction or any existing or future orders of the court(s) or Tribunal,” the order, issued by Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) Home Raj Kumar Goyal, read.
