26th death anniversary of Sheikh Mehdi Hussain Hamdani observed in Budgam

Srinagar, Mar 10: Glowing tributes were paid to prominent Islamic scholar and Shia cleric, Mir Sheikh Mehdi Hussain Hamdani, at a gathering in the Khanda area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

A statement issued here said that the event was held in remembrance of Hamadani on his 26th death anniversary.

The event attracted a large gathering, including esteemed religious scholars, who gathered to honour and pay tribute to the departed soul.

On this occasion, eminent Zakirs, including Agha Syed Mushtaq Moosavi, Zakir Manzoor-ul-Hassan, and Zakir Feroz Ahmad, delivered a special eulogy dedicated to the Maulana, while the speakers highlighted the scholarly contributions of the deceased.

Allama Mir Sheikh Mehdi Hussain Hamdani’s son Maulana Sibt Muhammad Shabir Qumi who is the chairman of Pairwan-e-Wilayat Jammu and Kashmir, expressed his gratitude to all the participants of the ceremony.
