21-year-old Indian-origin woman becomes one of the youngest lawyer in England and Wales
Srinagar, Aug 18: Krishangi Meshram, a 21-year-old law graduate of Indian origin, has become one of the youngest solicitors in England and Wales in recent years. Originally from West Bengal and currently based in the UAE, Ms. Meshram began her legal education at the age of just 15 through The Open University in Milton Keynes. She went on to graduate with First Class Honours in Law by the age of 18.
Krishangi Meshram, born in West Bengal and raised in the ISKCON Mayapur community, completed her secondary education by age 15. She then pursued a law degree with The Open University, graduating at 18 with First Class Honours—becoming its youngest-ever law graduate.
In 2022, she joined an international law firm and gained global exposure through Harvard Online and legal work experience in Singapore. Currently based in the UAE, she is exploring legal roles in both the UK and UAE.
While speaking to NDTV she said that it was during studies that she not only built the academic foundation for her legal career but also discovered a deep passion for the law.
