2 teenagers killed in Samba accident

Jammu, Aug 13: Two teenagers were killed when a motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a school bus at Sarore in the Samba district on Wednesday.

Police identified the teenagers as Joginder Kumar, 19, a resident of Chhattisgarh, and Sunny Kumar, 19, a resident of Uttar Pradesh.

The deceased duo were on their way to Industrial Estate Bari Brahmana, where their parents work, when the accident occurred at Sarore Bus Stand.

Police registered a case and initiated an investigation.

“The hunt was on for the bus driver, who went absconding immediately after hitting the motorcycle,” police stated.
