2 teachers die, 2 minors injured in Reasi accident
Ramban, Aug 18: Two government teachers died on the spot while two minors sustained critical injuries after a car they were travelling in plunged into a several hundred feet deep gorge on Hamosan-Chassana road on Sunday.
Police said that a car (JK20B 1024) on its way to Chassana from Hamosan skidded off the road and rolled into a deep gorge near Chamelu Morh at Chassana in Reasi on Sunday afternoon.
They said that on getting information about the accident, locals, Police, and other rescue teams from Chassana reached the spot and retrieved two bodies and two critically injured minors from the gorge.
They said that the two critical wounded were rushed to a nearby health facility in Chassana. Police identified the deceased as Ghulam Din, 35, and Muhammad Amin, 36, both teachers by profession and residents of Hamusan Chassana, Reasi.
Police identified the critically injured minors as Sumera Ghulam and Sajad Ghulam.
A Police official of Police Station Chassana, Reasi confirmed the death of the two government teachers and critical injuries to two minors in the accident.
