2 structures damaged in fire incident at Chanapora

Srinagar, Feb 10: At least two residential houses were damaged in a fire incident at Chanapora on Monday evening.

Officials said that multiple units of fire and emergency departments rushed to the area to douse off the flames.

“At least two residential houses are involved in the fire and they suffered massive damage. The operation is still on and the details of the damages will be known after the conclusion of the operation. As per initial reports, it is a three-storey and a double-storey house," an official said.

The officials said that the cause of the fire is yet to be known. “We are currently focussing on controlling the fire. Once the operation is concluded, we will be able to know the magnitude of the damage,” said the official.
