2 senior IPS officers deputed to undergo MCTP in Hyderabad

Jammu, June 3: J&K Home department has accorded sanction to the deputation of two senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, National Police Academy, Hyderabad, to undergo 16th Phase-V Mid-Career Training Programme (MCTP).

These officers included Syed Javid Mujtaba Gillani, IPS, (AGMUT:1994), ADGP, Railways, J&K and Alok Kumar, IPS (AGMUT:1997), Director Fire and Emergency Services, J&K.

16th phase-V Mid-Career Training Programme (MCTP) is scheduled to be held from June 18 to 28, 2024, at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, National Police Academy, Hyderabad.

Earlier, through a separate order, J&K Home department had deputed Sahid Mehraj, IPS, In-charge Director Civil Defence and SDRF Kashmir to attend the annual conference of Relief Commissioners and Secretaries (Disaster Management) and SDRF, Civil Defence, Home Guards & Fire Services of States and UTs to review the status of preparedness for South West Monsoon-2024, scheduled to be held on June 6 and 7, 2024 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
