2 Police officers transferred

Jammu, Aug 28: J&K government has ordered the transfer and posting of two senior Police officers, with immediate effect, following approval by the Election Commission of India (ECI).

As per an order issued by Principal Secretary, Home, Santosh D Vaidya, Ifroz Ahmad, SP Operations, Kishtwar has been transferred and posted as Deputy CO IR-5 vice Nisar Ahmad.

“Nisar Ahmad, Deputy CO IR-5 has been transferred and posted as SP Operations, Kishtwar vice Ifroz Ahmad,” the order read, while mentioning Letter No GZ/G-11/24/A.Election/2024 dated August 23, 2024, from Police Headquarters, J&K and Letter No CEO-Estt0GF/29/2024-1/6575 dated August 27, 2024, from Chief Electoral Officer, J&K.

Through a separate order, J&K Home Department has accepted the “Technical Resignation tendered by Mohammad Farhan Seh, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP), KPS205937, in terms of Article 201 of J&K CSR Vol-1, with effect from August 17, 2024.”
