2 killed, 2 injured in Jammu accidents

Jammu, Jan 14: Two persons were killed and two others were injured in two separate road accidents in Jammu during the last 24 hours.

In the first incident, two persons, including a woman, were killed and a person was critically injured in head-on-collision between two cars in Sohanjana area of Phllian Mandal in Jammu district on Saturday.

Police identified the deceased as Mohit Bharati and Elish while the injured was identified as Happy Kesar. He was shifted to a nearby medical facility.

In a separate incident this evening in Bishnah, a 27-year-old youth sustained critical injuries when a vehicle met with an accident in the Bishnah area. Police identified the injured as Parvinder Singh, a resident of Miran Sahib.

“Given his critical injuries, he was shifted to GMC hospital, Jammu,” Police said.
