Kupwara, Jul 31: Two persons were killed while as many injured after a temporary shelter they were residing in, collapsed in the forests of Amri Behak, Warnow area of Lolab.

Following the incident, the locals rushed towards the spot and launched rescue operation. "The shelter had collapsed overnight and after the locals received the information, they rushed towards the spot," a local told Greater Kashmir.
"Several families of Aafan Warnow move with their livestock to forest area in the summers every year and by the end of September they return back to their homes," he added.

The deceased have been identified as Marif Noori, wife of Mohammad Yousuf Mir and Abid Ahmad Mir, son of Mohammad Shafi Mir, both residents of Aafan Warnow in Lolab.
