2 injured in Rajouri landmine blast

Rajouri, Oct 8: Two persons sustained splinter injuries in a landmine explosion along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kalal area of Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.

Police said that the injured, identified as Raj Kumar and Ashwani Kumar of Mangote village of Nowshera, were working with the army as porters.

“Explosion occurred when they accidently stepped on an anti-personnel mine on Saturday. They were immediately evacuated to the hospital where they were under treatment,” police added.
