2 IAS officers promoted

Jammu, Jan 4: Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has promoted two senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of the 2009 batch of erstwhile J&K cadre (now AGMUT cadre) to the Super Time Scale.

As per MHA order, IAS officer Sarmad Hafeez, Secretary J&K Youth Services and Sports Department, has been promoted to the Super Time Scale (Level 14 in the pay matrix) with effect from January 1, 2025, or from the date of assumption of charge whichever is earlier.

Another IAS officer Sushma Chouhan, presently on central deputation in MHA on Director ranked post, has been granted proforma promotion to the Super Time Scale (Level 14 in the pay matrix) with effect from January 1, 2025, and on actual basis with effect from the date of assumption of charge of her immediate junior in the cadre.
