Ganderbal, Sep 14: Ganderbal police have solved a theft case within hours of the crime and arrested 2 thieves.

A police official said that on 14-9-2024 a theft took place at the house of one Showkat Ahmad resident of Rajbagh Colony Nagbal Ganderbal. In this regard a case FIR 240/2024 was registered under relevant sections of law.

The official said that on the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Ganderbal Wasim Qadri a team was constituted from the concerned police station.

“Taking quick action by the concerned police team, two thieves were caught and some recoveries were made. “ The vehicle used by thieves has been seized as well. The items recovered from thieves in case FIR No. 240/2024 include cash and jewellery. SSP Ganderbal said that further investigation is going on in the case.
