2 drug peddlers arrested in Udhampur: Police

Ramban, Jul 16: Two wanted drug peddlers were arrested with heroin by Udhampur Police on Wednesday. Police sources said a a team of Police led by its SHO Police Station Udhampur while performing routine patrolling duty at Battal Ballian- Londana road intercee vehicle (car) bearing registration number JK14J-4703 for checking purposes.

They said upon conducting a thorough frisking of the driver and co-driver, police team recovered 12.20 grams of heroin (chitta) like contraband substance from their possession .

Police said 6.2 grams of heroin was recovered from the Tarun Sharma, son of Des Raj, resident of Near CEO office Dandyal and 6 grams of heroin was recovered from the possession
