2 die in Kishtwar accident

Ramban, May 23: Two persons died after a vehicle, in which they were travelling, plunged into a deep gorge in the Margan Top area of Kishtwar district on Kishtwar-Anantnag National Highway-244 on Thursday.

Police said, “A vehicle (TaTa Mobile), bearing registration number JK03M-3594, on its way to Marwah from Anantnag, met with an accident in the Naibaran area and plunged into a deep gorge resulting in the death of two persons on the spot.”

The deceased were identified as driver Imtiyaz Ahmed, son of Abdul Rasheed, resident of Ranmando, district Anantnag and Mohammad Aslam Pathana, son of Mohammad Ayoub, resident of Matigowran.
