2-day workshop on school transformation held in Hajin

Srinagar, Jan 2: Jammu and Kashmir Association of Social Workers (JKASW) in collaboration with WIPRO, organised a two-day workshop with teachers and heads of institutes (HOIs) of 45 schools at Municipal Hall, Hajin, Bandipora.

The workshop focussed at enhancing the capacities of teachers and HOIs on the components of quality education and school transformation as envisioned under the NEP 2020.

Additionally, the workshop made aware the participants about the provisions of RTE Act 2009 with special emphasis on mainstreaming out of school children into the formal fold of education.

The workshop was facilitated by Muntazir Muneer , Cultural Coordinator CEO office Bandipora, Mohsin Haider Ali (JKASW State Resource Person -Education), Ambreen Bashir (JKASW State Resource Person -ECCE), Aijaz Ahmed Mir, Programme ManagerJKASW and Reyaz Ahmed Rishi Programme Coordinator JKASW.

Muntazir said that JKASW has taken appreciable initiatives in district Bandipora to enhance participation of children in the formal fold of education and hoped for cohesive endeavours for incorporating innovation in education.

Mohsin said that JKASW is committed to collaborate with educational authorities for enhancing the quality of education in schools through effective implementation of the RTE Act 2009 provisions and NEP 2020 recommendations in J&K.
