2 day Working Group meeting of NC begins with focus on assembly polls

Srinagar, July 3: The two day meeting of Working Group (WG) of National Conference (NC) began here today with the focus to strategise and chart a course for upcoming assembly elections.

Party President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah addressed the meeting. A statement issued by NC said, “The discussions held during the meeting are sure to pave the way for a strong and united front as the National Conference gears up for the upcoming electoral battle. The commitment and dedication of the WG members present at the Majlis-e-Amila exemplified the unwavering resolve to uphold the values and principles that the National Conference stands for."

The statement added, “The WG members unanimously affirmed J&K National Conference's unwavering commitment to serving the people of J&K and restoration of their abridged rights. The WG members also pledged to conquer any challenges with Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah leading the way.”

Those who attended the meeting included General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, additional General Secretaries Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, Provincial Presidents Nasir Aslam Wani, Rattan Lal Gupta and other invitees.
