2-day MDP inaugurated at GMC Baramulla

Baramulla, Nov 8: A two day state level Management Development Programme (MDP) of 24th batch started at Government Medical College Baramulla Wednesday. The event was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asghar.

Around 200 delegates and dignitaries from various institutions, organizations and departments of the UT participated in the event.

Chief guest on the occasion, Dr Syed Sehrish Asghar, in her inaugural address complimented the Academy of Hospital Administration (AHA) India for organising such training programmes for healthcare professionals of all cadres to strengthen and update the knowledge and skills.

She complimented Dr Yashpal Sharma, National President Academy of Hospital Administration (AHA) India and Director Coordination New Medical Colleges J&K, Prof (Dr) Ruby Reshi Principal GMC Baramulla, Dr Parvaiz Masoodi MS GMCH Baramulla and entire team for the state Level MDP at GMC Baramulla.

President National Academy of Hospital Administration (AHA) India and Director Coordination New Medical Colleges J&K, Dr Yashpal Sharma, while addressing the delegates focused on being patient friendly.

Prof (Dr) Ruby Reshi Principal GMC Baramulla, Prof Dr Ruby Reshi, in her welcome address congratulated the chief guest, dignitaries and delegates for being the part of this two day State Level MDP at GMC Baramulla and especially Dr Yashpal Sharma National President Academy of Hospital Administration for giving an opportunity to GMC Baramulla for organising 2nd MDP in GMC Jammu and 24th in series.

On this occasion, Dr Parvaiz Masoodi MS GMCH Baramulla paid a vote of thanks.

The inaugural session was attended by Prof (Dr) Iffat Hussan Principal GMC Handwara, Prof (Dr) Farhana Anjum Principal GMC Anantnag, Dr Shafa Deva MS SKIMS MCH Bemina, Faculty of GMC Baramulla, speakers, moderators and delegates from entire J&K. The two day event will cover ten sessions on various topics.
