2 arrested in Pouni Chak

Jammu, May 26:   Jammu and Kashmir Police apprehended two notorious individuals involved in a robbery in the Pouni Chak area of district Jammu on Sunday.

The arrested individuals, identified as Mahavir Singh alias Appu and his accomplice Jatinderpal Singh, were found in possession of snatched money and sharp-edged weapons.

“The incident came to light when a written complaint was lodged at Police Post Pouni Chak by Sanjay Kumar, a resident of Sandwan. He reported that while returning home after dropping his sister in Phallian Mandal, he was intercepted in the Seora area by Mahavir Singh and Jatinderpal Singh.
