180-bedded building commissioned at GMC&AH Rajouri

Rajouri, Nov 11: A newly constructed 180-bedded building has been commissioned at Government Medical College and Associated Hospital at Rajouri in Chenab Valley.
An official spokesman in a statement issued here said that Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajouri, Vikas Kundal on Saturday visited the GMC&AH to ensure smooth operation of the newly constructed 180-bedded additional building there.

The newly constructed building is set to address the growing healthcare needs of the community, with two vital departments, Ophthalmology and Radiation Oncology, now operational within its premises.
The strategic implementation of these departments aligns with a holistic approach to healthcare, covering both preventive and specialised medical services.

The expansion has augmented the total bed capacity of the hospital to 500, a noteworthy achievement that is expected to alleviate patient load, reduce waiting times, and elevate the overall quality of patient care.
