Rajouri, Nov 04: Twenty-eight persons, including twenty-six students, sustained injuries in a road accident at Thandikassi, about 4 km from Rajouri town, on Monday.

Official sources said the accident occurred when a minibus plying on the Jammu–Rajouri–Poonch National Highway turned turtle on the road, causing injuries to 28 passengers, including students from various educational institutions.

They added that all the injured were immediately shifted to GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri, from where two were referred to Jammu for specialized treatment.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and further investigation has been initiated.
