15-day summer break for Kashmir schools from June 23: Sakina Itoo

Srinagar June 21: The summer vacation for schools across Kashmir will begin from June 23, 2025, officials said today.

Talking to Greater Kashmir, Education minister Sakina Itoo confirmed that summer vacation will be announced from Monday (June 23).

Meanwhile an official said the order will be issued shortly by the administrative department. "The summer vacation will be announced from June 23 of 2025 for 15 days," the official told Greater Kashmir.

As already reported by Greater Kashmir, the education minister earlier hinted towards early announcement of summer vacation from Kashmir schools in view of prevailing heat wave.
