13 DySPs transferred, posted in Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu, Mar 11: Jammu and Kashmir Home department accorded sanction to the release of Selection Grade in favour of six Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs).

Meanwhile, the Director General of Police R R Swain has also ordered the transfers and postings of 13 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) with immediate effect.

“In terms of the Jammu and Kashmir Police (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules, 2002, notified vide SRO 132 of 2002 dated 3rd April, 2002, read with Government Order No 653-Home of 2017 dated June 7, 2017, sanction is hereby accorded to the release of the Selection Grade of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Non-functional) - Level 10-A (56600-179800) in the Pay Matrix, in favour of six officers, with effect from the specified date,” read an order issued by Principal Secretary Home Chandraker Bharti.

These officers included Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir; Harvinder Singh; Ishfaq Alam; Syed Ahmad Badana; Nazir Ahmad and Shamima Bano.

“These placements shall be subject to the outcome of writ petitions pending, if any, before any competent court of law,” order reads.

Thirteen DySPs, who have been transferred and posted by the DGP, included Ravinder Singh, SDPO Billawar who has been transferred and posted as DySP Training PHQ; Mohd Ameen Bhat, DySP IR-3rd Bn who has been transferred and posted as DySP PC Kupwara and Manoj Kumar, DySP PC Bandipora, who has been transferred and posted as DySP IR-5th Bn.

Surinder Singh, DySP IR-5th Bn has been transferred and posted as DySP PC Poonch; Rakesh Akram, DySP IR-19th Bn has been transferred and posted as DySP PC Rajouri; Himat Singh, DYSP IR-5th Bn has been transferred and posted as Dy.SP CID CI Jammu/Samba; Sumit Bhagat, DySP PC Rajouri has been transferred and posted as DySP IR-19th Bn and Khurshid Ahmad, DySP IR-4th Bn has been transferred and posted as DySP PC Wadoora Sopore.

Abdul Rehman, DySP JKAP-14th Bn has been transferred and posted as DySP CID CIK (JIC); Gazanfer Syeed Lone, DySP IR-11th Bn has been transferred and posted as DySP Hqrs Kulgam; Shabinder Singh, DySP IR-19th Bn has been transferred and posted as SDPO Billawar; Athar Samad Ahanger, DySP IR-10th Bn has been transferred and posted as DySP PC Bandipora and Bashir Ahmad Shah, DySP Hqrs Kulgam has been transferred and posted as DySP IR-11.
