129th Urs of Hazrat Mian Nizamuddin Kiyanvi in Kangan on June 8-9

Kangan, Jun 1: The 129th annual Urs of Hazrat Mian Nizamuddin Kiyanvi (RA) will commence on June 8, 2025, at Baba Nagri Wangath in Kangan.

A statement of the Sajada Nasheen Darbar Baba Ji Sahab Larvi, Mian Altaf Ahmad issued here said that the annual Urs would be observed on June 8 and 9.

The two-day annual Urs will commence on June 8 and conclude on June 9 with special Dua-e-Majlis, the statement said.

The two-day annual Urs is observed in the first fortnight of June every year with thousands of devotees from and outside Jammu and Kashmir thronging the event.

Besides Sajada Nasheen Darbar Baba Ji Sahab Larvi, Mian Altaf Ahmad, various Islamic scholars and religious personalities are likely to shed light on Islam and the life and teachings of Baba Nizamuddin Kiyani (RA).

Every year, thousands of pilgrims from Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Jammu, Udhampur, Bandipora, and Anantnag reach Baba Nagri to participate in the annual Urs.

The management of the shrine makes arrangements for food and accommodation for the devotees.
