121 Bangladeshi nationals residing illegally in Delhi to be deported

New Delhi, May 23: The Delhi Police has detained 121 Bangladeshi nationals for allegedly residing unlawfully in India with their deportation process being initiated through the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), an official said on Friday.

The illegal immigrants were rounded up in a week, the official further stated, adding that five Indians were interrogated in the case.

“A case has also been registered at the Narela Industrial Area police station to probe a suspected syndicate allegedly involved in facilitating the illegal entry and stay of foreign nationals in the country,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (outer north) Nidhin Valsan said.
