12 people injured in road accident in Baramulla
Baramulla, Nov 2: At least 12 passengers were injured after a passenger vehicle skidded off the road and overturned in the Veerwan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.
The injured were moved to the associated hospital, Government Medical College Baramulla, for treatment.
Locals said that a Tata vehicle bearing registration number JK05D 3618 overturned while negotiating a curve in the Veerwan area of Baramulla. Soon after the incident, locals and police rushed to the spot and transported the injured passengers to GMC Baramulla. The condition of the injured passengers is stated to be stable.
In another incident, a woman was injured after being hit by an army vehicle while walking on the road in the Khawjabagh area of Baramulla town on Saturday morning.
The injured woman was rushed to GMC Baramulla, where she is receiving treatment for her injuries.
