11 injured in mini bus accident in Rajouri

Jammu, Jan 28: At least eleven passengers were injured after a Mini Bus met with an accident at Bathuni in Rajouri district on Wednesday.

Officials told GNS that the mishap occurred due to a tyre burst, following which the driver lost control of the vehicle (JK11-1499), causing it to veer off the road.

All the injured passengers were promptly shifted to Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu for treatment, they said. Their condition is stated to be stable.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway, they added.
