10 injured in Kalakote accident

Rajouri, Feb 27: Ten passengers were injured in a road accident that took place near Kalakote bus stand in Rajouri district.

Accident, police said, took place on Tuesday evening when a minibus JK11 1209 was on way to Kalakote from Siot and around 400 meters short or Kalakote bus stand, the vehicle fell in roadside fields.

In the accident, police said, 14 passengers in the vehicle received injuries out of which four passengers left for home while 10 others were taken to Kalakote civil hospital.

The injured, police further informed, are under treatment in Kalakote hospital.

Injured include Neeraj Kumar (36) son of Kasturi Lal resident of Barehvi, Kapil Sharma (25) son of Mulkh Raj resident of Barehvi, Mohammad Ishaq (45) son of Mohammad Azim resident of Panjah, Saleema Begum (50) wife of Abdul Majid resident of Dharamsal, Anjali Devi (21) wife of Ajay Sagyal resident of Sunderbani, Mohammad Ishtiyaq (70) son of Mohammad Ismail resident of Dharamsal, Zeenat (31) wife of Naseem Ahmed resident of Solki, Rabia Kouser (12) daughter of Mohammad Ishtiyaq resident of Potha, Abhikash (20) son of Sat Pal resident of Panjah and Adhrav Sharma (20) son of Birbal Sharma resident of Panjah.
