1 killed in Chatroo road accident

Ramban, Aug 10: One person died in a road accident on Dumbar Hawal link road in Chatroo, area of Kishtwar on Saturday evening.

Police sources said a Maruti car bearing registration number JK02AU-8129 skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near Dunbar on Dunbar- Hawal link road Chatroo, Kishtwar resulting in on spot death of a person.

They said the body of the deceased was shifted to CHC Chatroo for legal medico formalities.

Police identified the deceased Farooq Ahmed son of Abdul Gani Hajam resident of Damar, Chatroo, Kishtwar.

Police have registered a case under relevant sections of law for further investigations at Police Station Chatroo.
