Man dies after car rolls down into gorge in J&K's Ramban
The deceased has been identified as Amit Koul, son Badrinath Koul, a resident of Pattan Kashmir, presently living at Jammu.
Banihal, Feb 12: A man was killed after a car he was travelling in met with an accident on Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
A police official said that a car bearing registration number JK- 02BC 5010 which was on way from Jammu to Srinagar skidded off the road near Battery Chashma and rolled into a deep gorge.
Soon after the incident, a rescue operation was launched by police and civil QRT Ramban volunteers but found the occupant of the car dead on the spot, said the official.
