1 dies due to suffocation in Gool

Ramban, Mar 2: One person died and 24 fell unconscious due to suffocation at Dedha area of sub-division Gool in Ramban district on Saturday.

The deceased was identified 14 year old Mohammad Tariq son of Mohammad Ashdullah Hajam resident of Ban Dachan, Gool.

Police sources said that during a marriage function in the Deeda area, a generator set was placed on for electricity purposes inside a room. Due to gas 25 persons sleeping inside the room fell unconscious.

They said that on getting information Saturday morning all the persons were removed to Gool hospital, where one of them was declared dead by the doctors. They said 22 persons were discharged after providing necessary medical aid.
