1 dead, 6 injured in Kulgam accident

Kulgam, Mar 9: A man died while six others were injured when a load carrier overturned in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Altaf Matoo, son of Muhammad Ramzan Matoo of Ganjipora village. According to an official, the incident occurred in the Qaimoh area when a load carrier veered off the road, resulting in on spot death of Matoo. “Six others travelling in the load carrier suffered injuries,” the official said. He said that the injured were rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
