1 dead, 4 injured in Sopore accident

Sopore, Oct 25: One person died while four others, including a young pedestrian girl, were injured in the Duroo area of Sopore in north Kashmir on Saturday.

Four youth riding a scooter (JK05F-1980) collided with a pedestrian girl at Duroo, Sopore, resulting in a fatal accident.

The injured were immediately rushed to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Sopore for medical attention, where one of them succumbed to injuries.

He has been identified as Momin Bashir Teli, son of Bashir Ahmad, of Teli Mohalla, Arampora Sopore.

The injured have been identified as Sahil Ahmad, Manan Ahmad, and Ubaid Ahmad, all of whom were referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla for further treatment, and Marifat, daughter of late Mushtaq Ahmad of Duroo, Sopore, who was referred to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar, in critical condition.
