Expressing condolences to the deceased's family, Singapore Airlines stated, "Our priority is to provide all possible assistance to all passengers and crew on board. We are working with local authorities in Thailand to provide necessary medical aid and have dispatched a team to Bangkok for additional support."

Experts indicate that injuries from turbulence typically occur when passengers are not wearing seatbelts and there is no advance warning from the weather radar. This can result in passengers being thrown around the cabin, leading to injuries. A similar incident occurred in May last year when turbulence caused injuries on a Delhi-Sydney Air India flight.
